Google has updated Zeitgeist to show the fastest-rising global queries of the year 2011. Whether searching for people or events, we are a global culture that shares a lot and shares it quickly. The Zeitgeist update was announced on the official Google blog and had this video to go along with it.

Maybe I’m getting overly sentimental but that video wrapped up the year in a way that really felt like “Yeah, we survived a lot this year.”
