Google Maps for Android updates to 6.5

The Google Mobile blog posted today about its crossing the 50 billion kilometers of directions provided mark. The main content of the post was actually about the Google Maps 6.5 update. It brings a redesigned navigation home screen to Android 4.0 devices, crisper maps for devices with high pixel density screens (Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S II, Droid Razr, and others), and allows you to prioritize the route you take (fewer transfers, less walking, etc.).

Grab the update from Google Play.
