Anti-piracy warnings before movies double starting this week
A recent poll was taken and found that legitimate purchasers of DVDs and Bluray discs love unskippable previews and screens before their movies. The FBI and ICE took this market research (that doesn’t really exist) and to satisfy customer demand, announced adding a second anti-piracy warning on the movies you buy and rent starting this week. Each screen will last ten seconds, be unable to be fast-forwarded, and will be unskipped. A feature of the pirated version of a movie – it doesn’t waste your time.
The original message is now branded with the Department of Homeland Security Investigations logo as well as the FBI ‘Winners Don’t Do Drugs’ logo.

The new screen comes from the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center and reminds you that piracy is not a victimless crime.
Nor is putting unskippable scenes on movies that are clearly legitimately purchased a victimless crime.
